John,
Kitti absolutely loves the piano pen. It writes really well and is a beautiful, well made pen. Keep up the good work.

John,
I am so pleased with my Celtic Dragon fountain pen. It is beautifully made and writes like a dream. I like that it is lightweight and just the right diameter for me to grip. I have issues with weakness and numbness in my hands and fingers. I am so glad I purchased this pen and will use it for years to come. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful but not cookie cutter pen.
John, here are my comments on the Moonwalk pen I purchased from you in 2022:
I have been using fountain pens at work since 1996. In 2013 I retired, watched all Goulet Pen Co videos in 2013, accumulated some 50+ fountain pens since then. Somehow I missed this pen until I watched SBRE Brown's recent review in September 2022.
I was in my 4th year at GA Tech when the first moon landing took place, watched it on TV with my family that day. Had no intentions of adding to my pen collection since I retired in 2013 until I came across the Moonwalk Pen by Artcraft. I had to have this fantastic pen with its wonderful historical connection and ordered the standard version with a fine nib.
When I saw the pen for the first time I was blown away. The detail, coloration, everything about the pen exceeded all my expectations (which were high as I have a lot of respect for SBRE Brown’s reviews). The Rickshaw pen case that came with the Moonwalk Pen is a wonderful companion. I had bought Rickshaw pen cases previously, and a couple of their pouches, and the inclusion of this case with the pen is wonderful. John, you created a masterpiece here. I had to ink it up and write with it and it is a very fine writing pen, not just an art pen, but an art pen that is wonderful to hold and use. This pen is among the most cherished pen in my collection of pens. I rate this a full 5 out of 5.

I first saw this pen in a YouTube video. What initially intrigued me was it was not the Chinese Dragon, as it is the Year of the Dragon. Rather, there is folklore about the Celtic Dragon and this pen celebrates the creature wonderfully.
The pen is crafted extremely well. There is a nice texture on the body. The image of the Dragon is hand painted and coated with an acrylic that will preserve the color.
The grip is very comfortable in the hand. The nib is smooth and lays down a nice line.
It is a cartridge converter, taking standard international short and long cartridges. If you request it, the barrel can be sealed on the end and can be used as an eyedropper. The ink capacity is over 2ml. You should also add an "O" ring and apply silicone grease to the threads.
Overall I would heartily recommend this pen to anyone who enjoys a quality pen from an independent maker of quality writing instruments.

I received the Chinese pen today. I was planning to fill it with Diamine Red Dragon (seemed appropriate), but I usually use an included cartridge when supplied, figuring the pen maker or seller knows a good ink for the pen. I inspected the nib; it looked perfect. I put the provided cartridge in and waited for the ink to reach the tip. When I wrote with it, RED DRAGON!!!
That's when I decided to read your letter and discovered that the cartridge you provided was indeed Red Dragon.
The pen looks fantastic and writes very well. Rating: 5 (can I give it 10 out of 5?)

When I saw the Celtic and Chinese Dragon pens I knew I had to have one before I even wrote with them. But when I wrote with one I looked and John and said I wanted one of each. They are so artfully done and light as a feather. The pens write beautifully and are so comfortable in the hand. You are definitely getting more than your money’s worth with an Artcraft pen.

Hi John,
I am enjoying the Celtic Dragon pen, like the gold inlaid design. The handling is comfortable for my hand.
The gel cartridge with a ceramic tip is scratchy to use and not my favorite. I will be replacing it.

John,
My piano pen came today and I absolutely love it .So beautiful and fits my hand perfectly. Writes like
a dream, so grateful to you for making such an awesome pen. I wouldn't change a thing it's perfect exactly as it is.

Yesterday I got my hands on the moonwalk-pen. Its gorgeous and even more beautiful than on the pictures.
The 3-D parts with the wonderful painting to amplify the highs and depths are a real peace of art. My collection has a new star!
I hope this was not a unique excursion into the world of fountain pen of you, and there will be some successor in the future.
I am very honored to be one of the 50 proud owners of this pen - thanks a lot for the smooth transction and your friendly words.
Its also a great honor for me to had come in contact with one of the persons who made the biggest achievement of mankind possible which in my eye is and will always be the first step on the moon. Even the first step on Mars (maybe someday) will only be the SECOND step of mankind on another celestial body.

Hi John,
Susan says “Beautiful work.” I concur. Nice pens.
Thanks for sharing!
Glad I was an early owner.

I purchased this pen for my wife. She is studying Acupuncture and Chinese history. Since this is the Chinese year of the Dragon, it was the perfect gift for her. She loves writing with it and admires the beautiful Dragon design on the barrel. I have been collecting fountain pens for 40 years so I have lots of great fountain pens. Now I look for good pens with great design. This pen satisfies both of my criteria - a good writing pen and a great design. Now 2025 in the Chinese calendar is the year of the snake! I look forward to your creation. Thank you.

Thanks for the opportunity to comment. While I have several of your pens, this will be only in review of the Mars Rover as that is the one that I brought with me during my South Pole deployment.
I very much enjoy the Franklin Christoff fine steel nib in black as it always lays down a smooth line of ink every time without any dry starts or skips. To me, that is the essence of using a fine writing instrument. Can’t tell you how many other fountain pens that I own from top brands that cost multiples of the Mars Rover that are terrible writers! The Mars Rover is a bit light in weight for my preferences, but I enjoy the material especially the way it seems to absorb oils from skin to produce a varied and interesting patina. Unfortunately, it also absorbs ink, so be aware of that feature. I enjoy the design with its unsmooth, tactile feel, raised areas and cracked mud-like appearance. The color is a perfect evocation of my perception of Mars soil. Overall, definitely a 5 experience! Keep up the good work.
